Ponderosa Commons
University of British Columbia, 2016A Campus hub and hang out, this multi-phased public realm anchor project includes classrooms, labs, art studios, lounges, dining, and student housing. The landscape was conceived as a series of 'rooms' stepping down a sloped 'street'. Significant existing trees including a massive ponderosa and several mature flowering cherries, were retained and coordinated into the design.
Recipient of 2018 National CSLA Award of Excellence With Hapa Collaborative. Sarah acted as project lead.
