Parc Campus for Royal BC Museum

Colwood, BC, 2026-

A major new facility for the Royal BC Museum, this new timber-frame building provides space for offices, archives, storage and educational programming. The landscape is designed to represent the natural landscapes of the hyper-locality, including garry-oak meadow. A feature pond was designed to assist with stormwater management on site as well as to create habitat. It's recirculating system helps to maintain water quality through a cascading reflecting pool and stream. Hapa worked with a specialized meadow designer to fine tune the planting design.

With Michael Green Architecture, WSP Civil, and Satinflower Nursery. With Hapa Collaborative.  Sarah acted as principal.
