Burrard Slopes Park Masterplan

This important project brings new park land to the Fairview neighbourhood of Vancouver at the terminus of the Arbutus Corridor greenway.  The project included extensive public engagement as well as working with many different departments at the city.  Competing demands on parkspace, practical operations requirements and public input were all understood in order to create a final preferred concept which aims to provide a new park which responds to the city’s needs.  

Hapa/SOFT SCAPE led a team of subconsultants including stormwater engineers, skate park designer, geotechincal engineer, active transportation designer, and quantity surveyor in order to produce a concept plan which is backed by technical knowledge.
