Hamersley Park

2021, North Vancouver, BCThis project was a major upgrade of an existing neighbourhood park in a densifying residential neighbourhood. The design moved the new playground deeper into the park, activating a previously underused area and opening up the lawn for more general use. An extensive rain garden feature with a boardwalk was introduced to a wet area of the park which was historically a stream. The forested hillside was restored with some vegetation removal and addition, adding to the appeal of the park. With Core Group, Diamond Head. With Hapa Collaborative.  Sarah acted as project lead.
